Celebrate Asian music, dance and fashion at The Mela at The Mall 2009

Some of the UKs leading British Asian artists H-Dhami, Mumzy, Avina, Sham, Tasha Tah and Navin Kundra are to headline The Mela at The Mall, (The Mall, Ilford) on Saturday 24th October.

The Mela at The Mall features live music performances, Bollywood dance, beauty, fashion and accessories in a fusion of Bollywood razzamatazz and a traditional Asian-inspired market day.

Entry to The Mela at The Mall is free.

Core Facts

Dhol Drummers dressed in authentic costume will start the day, leading a procession from the steps of Redbridge Town Hall into The Mall for the first live performance of the day by Navin Kundra. The shows will take place from 1pm-2.45pm and 4pm-5.45pm. Fans will be able to meet the stars of the shows for autograph signings and photographs after each show.
